CERCLA/EPCRA
The CERCLA/EPCRA program covers accidental chemical release notifications and routine chemical inventory and reporting requirements under both the Comprehensive Emergency Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act (EPCRA, also known as the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act (SARA) Title III).
Inventory and Reporting
CU facilities are required to provide release notification under both the Comprehensive Emergency Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) and Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act (EPCRA, also known as the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act (SARA) Title III). Periodic notifications and reports are also required under EPCRA. EHS completes release reporting and prepares notifications and reports in accordance to the requirements of CERCLA and EPCRA for Ithaca area facilities.
