Occupational Health

Occupational Health, or Industrial Hygiene, is the discipline of anticipating, recognizing, evaluating, and controlling health hazards in the working environment with the objective of protecting worker health and well-being and safeguarding the community at large.

EHS Occupational Health team provides various industrial hygiene services to the Cornell Community, including chemical exposure assessments, indoor air quality reviews, respirator fit tests, noise surveys, and administration of the Lead and Asbestos programs.
