Environmental Incident Response

Incident Response includes internal procedures for complying with federal, state, and local regulations for reporting and remediating releases to the environment.  Reporting a release can include all or some of the following requirements:

• Chemical Bulk Storage Regulations (6 NYCRR Parts 596, 597)

• Petroleum Bulk Storage (6 NYCRR Part 613)
• Article 17 of the Environmental Conservation Law
• Federal Clean Water Act
• CERCLA & EPCRA
• Ithaca Sewer Use Law
• City of Ithaca, Stormwater Management & Erosion & Sediment Control
• Town of Ithaca, Storm Sewer System & Surface Waters Protection
• Local emergency response system (fire, police, EMS)
• RCRA
