The Environment, Health and Safety Office administers the environmental Air Programs including the following:

Clean Air Act Compliance Program

The Clean Air Act Compliance program addresses general compliance with regulations associated with discharges to the outdoor air.   This program includes compliance with air discharge permits including State Operating Permits and Title V Permits.

Stratospheric Ozone Protection Program

The Stratospheric Ozone Protection program addresses compliance with Clean Air Act Amendments (CAAA) Title VI, which regulates Ozone Depleting Substances (ODSs) including refrigerants

Radioactive Air Emissions Program

Radioactive Air Emissions Program addresses compliance with NYSDEC regulations (6NYCRR Part 380) addressing emissions of radioactive materials to the outdoor air.
