Petroleum and Chemical Storage

The Environment, Health and Safety Office administers the University's Chemical Bulk Storage (CBS) Program and the Petroleum Bulk Storage (PBS) Program through registration of all University owned CBS and PBS tanks with the NYS DEC.  Owners and operators of University CBS/PBS tanks must comply with the requirements of the University's Chemical and Petroleum Bulk Storage Programs and NYS DEC's regulations for chemical/petroleum bulk storages.
