FM Global Hot Work Permit
The Hot Work Permit is required for any temporary operation involving open flames or producing heat and/or sparks.
This includes, but is not limited to: brazing, cutting, grinding, soldering, torch-applied roofing and welding.
Hazard Communications Written Program Protected Document
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Hazard Communication (HAZCOM) Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200) requires that all employers establish and maintain a program to evaluate and communicate the hazards of chemicals in the workplace. This program is intended to provide the Cornell University community with the guidance necessary to comply with these regulations.
