The purpose of the Fall Prevention Program is to identify guidelines to protect all employees engaged in work activities that expose them to potential falls from elevations. An important element of protecting employees working at heights is the identification of fall hazards and the proper controls needed.
Fall Prevention Training (EHS 4420)
This course provides employees who work at heights with an overview of the Cornell University Fall Prevention Program and applicable regulatory requirements. It also introduces trainees to the fall prevention hierarchy of controls and the various methods of fall protection including personal fall arrest systems.
